Hi All,

Sorry it’s been a while since we’ve wrote a blog post – but it has been a crazy year so far (all good of course). We’ve expanded the shop, added new employees and have truly been enjoying doing Pawn Stars.

We’re still the biggest Monday night draw on cable (with almost 8 million people watching!) and Chum is finally starting to get the hang of things – after 5 years.

I also wanted to bring some attention to the new eBay store – we’ve got everything from $300 liquor bottles to antiques, to Chumlee bobble heads.

Lastly I wanted to ask you guys and gals to feel free to ask questions! We love answering your comments about the show and our lives. The best place to reach us is on Facebook (that’s where we are the most active) or Twitter.

We’ve asked you, our fans, whether we should be on the road a little more often. And it’s pretty clear from our Facebook fans that the answer is yes.

Already in 2011, we’ve been to the Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella and at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester valuating people’s prized (and not so prized) possessions. We’re bringing the GS Pawn shop to the masses. We’ve had a lot of fun and are happy to be able to interact with our fans in different locations. Our next 3 shows all happen in May. If you’re in the Morristown, Red Bank,  or Tulsa area make sure to come out and join us!

We understand that we’ve had a lot of feedback regarding the events and appreciate everything that you have suggested. We are always striving to make our shows more valuable to you and all the feedback helps us improve.

Our presence outside of the Gold and Silver Pawn Store continues but this time we won’t be evaluating the worth of your goodies. Instead, we’ll be celebrating! Big Hoss is getting older and we’re hosting a birthday bash at Jet Nightclub, part of The Light Group’s growing number of hospitality companies.

One of the best parts of running the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop is having the opportunity for the team to meet new people in different cities as we travel across the country. Last weekend represented another one of those opportunities. Rick and Corey “Big Hoss” were at Stoney’s in Evansville Indiana on Saturday to mingle with the gang at this local hotspot. The turnout was better than expected as more than 2000 people showed up to hang out with the boys. On unrelated news, Rick was interviewed by the celebrity news outlet TMZ. They were shocked to hear that we had a 5.5 carot diamond in our store worth well over $100,000. Although our show and our sales page on our website don’t focus only on the most expensive items, we sure have a variety of treasures in our store, some worth a lot of money like this diamond. That’s the nature of the Pawn Shop business – we deal with a wide variety of products. To see exactly what we have in our store, it’s best to come on down for a visit!

We’re going to be hitting the road again, me, Chumlee, Corey & even the Old Man to do the Pawn Star road show and we’d love to see as many of you as possible. If you have some great gold and silver or anything that you think is really valuable bring it out when we visit the below locations.
